Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in an LA Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This represents a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
