This incident resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
