Swedish Team Reveal: Alexander Isak Included While Gyokeres Omitted

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has been omitted in the new manager's maiden Swedish national squad, whereas Reds striker Alexander Isak secured a place
Gyokeres is set to undergo more examinations this week following fears he sustained a muscle problem in Arsenal's Premier League triumph against the Clarets last weekend
The 27-year-old was absent from the Gunners' European success against the Czech side on Tuesday
Isak Returns
Isak, who has been sidelined since late October due to a groin injury, has been chosen to play in World Cup qualifying matches against the Swiss team (15 November) plus the Slovenian side (18 November)

Both athletes were included in the England-based players chosen by former multiple English clubs boss the new Swedish coach
Potter's Appointment
The English manager took over the Swedish federation initially on a short-term basis on 20 October, less than four weeks after leaving from West Ham
Previous manager the Danish coach lost his job after Sweden's setback against Kosovo in mid-October, a result that made direct progression in their World Cup group impossible

The Swedish team find themselves bottom in Group B with just one point in their opening four games
